Chris Rowden performs in Hope Drone, an Australian heavy band playing blend of black metal and sludge with an emphasis on atmosphere.

Hailing from Brisbane, Hope Drone released their debut album earlier 'Cloak of Ash' earlier this year and are touring down under with Germany's Downfall of Gaia this November.

Ben spoke to Chris about the album, how the band recreates atmosphere on stage, how they signed with Relapse Records, being approached by Downfall of Gaia for a tour and the inspiration for the lyrics.
