Emily Byrne, Connecticut Voices for Children Executive Director, looks at yesterday's release of its annual budget report entitled "Reforming Connecticut's Tax System: A Program to Strengthen Working and Middle-Class Families." In order to identify solutions to address in Connecticut's regressive tax system, the report traces the rise of income and wealth inequality, and the adverse impact on working- and middle-class families.
