According to the Bible, we are all sinners, so at different times in our lives we are called to confess and admit to ourselves that we have sinned--turning to God and away from sin. He believes you cannot be a growing Christian if you do not know how to repent, and that repentance is one of the misunderstood, overlooked, and not practiced of the Christian spiritual habits/disciplines.
