On Monday's Memorial Day edition of Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, military wife Megan B. Brown admits she honestly did not know what she signed up for when she fell in love with a military man and had visions of adventure. In much the same way, when we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, most of us have no idea what we are “signing up for.” We were probably so overwhelmed by His love; we weren’t necessarily focused on the sacrifices that would follow.
