KSAPS Project Director Padma Basavanthappa said reports claiming 7,000 college students are HIV-positive and that HIV testing is mandatory in colleges are false.
She said the department is working to identify people who do not know their HIV status and that anonymous dating apps have made contact tracing more difficult.
