What's News: Busting myths about fuel efficiency

Petrol prices once again increased this past week following months of sharp increases. The new retail prices for petrol are almost R10 more per litre compared to last year.  For a litre of 93-petrol is R26.31 and 95-petrol costs R26.74 inland, while the inland wholesale price of 500 ppm diesel is R25.40 and 50 ppm diesel costs R25.53. The increases are not unique to South Africa as the world as they continue to soar throughout the globe. Many of us are now searching desperately for solutions to help them to be more fuel efficient, but what is true and what is just a myth when it comes to fuel efficiency? The team had a chat with Automotive expert - Kumbi Mtshakazi
