The World Health Organisation is once again raising alarm bells regarding the salt intake by people across the globe.
The organisation has warned that as things stand today we are unlikely to meet the target of reducing salt intake by 30% by the year 2025.
The blame for this has been put on governments across the world who have not implemented recommended policies for reducing salt intake, with only 3% of the world’s population protected by mandatory policies to reduce sodium.
