South Africans love the internet as the latest ‘We Are Social and Maltwater Global Digital Report’ showing that South Africans spend the most time on the internet than any other country. According to the report we spend

about 9 hours 38 minutes connected to the internet, 3 hours more than anywhere else in the world.

We also spend more time on social media than most countries in the world, at 3 hours 44 minutes each day. On average, South Africans are on 7.8 social media accounts, with the most used social media platform in the country being WhatsApp.
