The government is in the midst of consulting with stakeholders, on a bill to establish the Independent Police Complaints of Misconduct Commission, after tabling the bill last month. We speak to Datuk Seri M. Ramachelvam, Co-Chairperson of the Bar Council's IPCMC Task Force, about police pushback, the current version of the bill, and the government's engagement with stakeholders.
