Amid fear over the outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus, the Malaysian government has taken legal action against several individuals accused of perpetuating misinformation. One prominent case includes National Union of Journalists exco member Wan Noor Hayati Wan Alias, accused of publishing rumours likely to cause fear or alarm.
