Roy Patterson's first day at Moody Radio was September the 11th, 2001. From there, he jumped in at full speed and never slowed down; co-launching a program called Urban Praise, hosting Music for Sunday, and many other programs. He eventually became station manager of WMBI Moody Radio Chicago, and served as Moody Bible Institute's interim dean of students. Through it all, Roy has been a champion for Christ centered diversity.

His decades long service at Moody Radio eventually led him to be Station Manager for Moody Radio Florida and South Regional Manager for the Moody Radio Network. 

In 2016 he retired from radio to serve as pastor of the Bridge Worship community, and
