Dallas David Roberts, a 19-year-old from Montrose, Colorado, was reported missing on October 28, 2024, after being last seen in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park area. His vehicle was discovered crashed approximately 150 feet off East Portal Road within the park. Following an extensive search, authorities located his body on November 2, 2024, about 200 feet down a cliffside in the park. Roberts was a student at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction and had a passion for music and a strong faith.
