Many Italian immigrants settled in North America in the 19th and early-20th centuries, establishing Little Italy enclaves wherever they went. Today the largest in the US can be found in San Diego, where nearly 50 blocks brim with food and drink from the ‘bel paese’. Monocle’s Gregory Scruggs tucks in for lunch and takes us on a tour.
