Hector Butler and Matt Brunault were living and working in New York when they stumbled upon a modest neighbourhood bar in Brooklyn. There the friends fell in love with saké. A few years (and several trips to Japan) later they successfully launched Shima, the ready-to-drink canned saké that’s shaking up the hard seltzer market.
