This week on Monks and Merrill, the hosts break down the latest Southern California headlines, from overflowing trash cans and delayed garbage pickups to an upcoming Huntington Beach time capsule ceremony. They discuss the ongoing Teamsters strike and its impact on trash and recycling services across Orange County, frustrations over public trash collection in LA's Koreatown, and what the city is doing about it. Plus, with Santa Ana winds, red flag warnings, and recent Orange County fires raising concerns, the hosts talk fire danger and the importance of being prepared. Local news, community issues, weather, and a little SoCal commentary—all in one episode.
