After more than 35 years in Financial Services, the last 25 running her own boutique financial planning practice in Sydney, she understands the challenges faced by financial planning professionals in meeting the obligations of the new standards whilst running a business and most importantly making a difference in the lives of their clients.

Marisa Broome CFP® has just completed her term as the Chair of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) after almost 8 years on the Board.  At the same time, she stepped down as Chair of the Regulatory Advisory Panel of the Financial Planning Standards Board, the body that licences the CFP designation globally.

Marisa is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Conexus Institute and a Director of The Rebecca L Cooper Medical Research Foundation.
