View descriptionShare

It’s election day in the United States. Americans across the country are heading to the polls to vote for their next President.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump each need at least 270 electoral votes to win. In this high-stakes election, the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are expected to be pivotal to the path to victory.

On this special edition of Morning Shot focusing on the US Presidential Election, Trisha Craig, Executive Director at the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies and Suzanne Chod, Professor of Political Science at the North Central College share their insights.
