Nursing has traditionally been touted as a career with long hours and low pay, but the government has recently injected a boost to the sector in the form of a new retention incentive scheme - to encourage nurses to stay on in the job. Despite these challenges, some nurses soldier on thanks to a strong passion to serve patients.
