Morning Shot: How to tackle species loss that's 10,000 times higher than if we didn't exist?

Did you know that the rapid loss of species we’re seeing today is estimated to be about 1,000 to 10,000 times higher than if we humans didn’t exist? 

Conservation biologists are worried about this number - but here in Singapore, Mandai Wildlife Group is making some great strides on its conservation initiatives - with nearly 800 little ones popping out of its oven in 2022 and enhanced care for its geriatric residents.

Dr Luis Carlos Neves, Vice President of Animal Care at Mandai Wildlife Group shares how these efforts fit into the bigger conservation picture.
