In line with International Women’s Day, 10 women will be inducted into the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame this year.
The list is secret for now but we reveal 1 out of the 10 on this episode of Morning Shot ahead of the induction on Mar 8. It’s none other than Sylvia Toh, Pioneering humour writer and the Grandmother of Singlish. She shares more about her personal journey carving a career in humour writing and how she become the "Grandmother of Singlish".
Koh Yan Ping, CEO, Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations also weighs in on the level of gender parity within workplaces in Singapore and what can be improved.
