Today, we’re marking World Autism Awareness Day.
It’s an opportunity to take a moment to reflect on how to better understand and embrace people with autism. This year, the Autism Network Singapore has launched a campaign with the theme “Partnering for Progress” - calling for more proactive partnerships across various types of institutions to support autistic individuals through different life stages in the community.
On this episode of Morning Shot, Bernard Chew, CEO of St Andrew’s Autism Centre shares his insights on challenges faced by individuals with autism, key partnerships that can enhance acceptance and key values needed for talent hoping to work in the sector.
