AI tools are now part of everyday work across Asia-Pacific. But while usage has surged, the way organisations operate has been slower to shift. Research from Boston Consulting Group shows that 78 per cent of employees in APAC use AI weekly, yet only about 39 per cent say they spend any of the time saved on more strategic work, suggesting most AI use is still focused on doing the same tasks faster, rather than doing work differently.
