As Singaporeans, we’ve got plenty of traits that unite us. But an unusual one that many of us are probably guilty of has got to be the issue of ‘complaining’.
Just recently, power washing artist Marcus Pang went viral after he was reported for creatively cleaning sections of dirty concrete by an SMRT train staff. That’s even as the police confirmed he had done nothing illegal. So does the incident show our indifference or ignorance of the value of arts? And just because someone complains, does it necessarily mean they’re right?
