According to the United Nations, one in every 10 women is living in extreme poverty. Historically, climate change scientists, researchers and policymakers have struggled with making the vital connections between gender, social equity, and climate change.
But, one serial entrepreneur strongly believes that women - in particular - can be the change-making force in pushing for greater social and economic equity for a greener and healthier planet.
