Mind Your Business: How Plaza Premium Group's family leadership is shaping the future of airport hospitality?

View descriptionShare

Airport lounges have long been associated with exclusivity, but in 1998, the Plaza Premium Group (PPG) changed that when they introduced the world’s first pay-per-use airport lounge, opening the doors to all travellers.

Today, as the world’s largest airport hospitality services provider, PPG continues to shape the future of airport experiences and has expanded since the pandemic.

What makes its journey especially interesting is its leadership transition. A pair of siblings are now driving the company’s evolution, blending innovation with the legacy left by their father.

How do they continue to build on this global success while navigating the unique dynamics of a family business?

Here's our conversation with Song Mei Mei, Chief Transformation Officer, Plaza Premium Group & Jonathan Song, Chief Commercial Officer, Plaza Premium Group.
