Finding love can prove to be a difficult task even at the best of times, which is why many have resorted to dating apps to aid their search.
And a major reason why this industry has morphed into a multi-billion dollar one is because of the exponential rise of paying subscribers, who enjoy enhanced features that give them an advantage over peers navigating the crowded waters of the dating pool.
Big players like Hinge and Tinder offer tiers of service, with one particular plan launched by the former costing up to $600 a year.
But there's a caveat: paying for apps doesn't guarantee you a match.
On Breakfast Bites, Emaad, Ryan and Audrey discuss the pros and cons of subscription-based dating apps, and the price they'd be willing to pay to find love online.
