A-level results will be released this Saturday, so it's a big day for students waiting in bated breath as they find out where they're going next.

Standardised testing is a practice that has sparked many debates globally: while educators say it can provide a level playing field, critics have pointed towards the need for more rounded assessments to account for 'fluid intelligence'.
