Celebrity chef Ayesha Curry, wife of NBA star Steph Curry, recently admitted she paid her 13-year-old daughter and niece $20 to clean the kitchen and living room.

And it sparked this age-old parenting debate: should kids be paid for chores, or should they just pitch in because they’re part of the family?
