Breakfast Bites: Does plant-based "fake" meat have a real impact on our environment?

View descriptionShare

Today is Sustainable Gastronomy Day! The UN marks this special day every June 18th, and this day was established to draw the world’s attention to the role food can play to help our environment.

One big way to help the environment through food is cutting down on meat, and turning to plant-based diets. Research shows they are up to 120 times more carbon efficient than meat products.

Audrey and Ryan talk about the impact going plant-based has on our planet earth, and how they find the taste of these alternatives.
