Daniel Ng and Gina Cheong, co-founders of Aww Media, decided there might never be a better time. With a budget of around S$150,000, their family of five embarked on a year-long adventure around the world.

Michelle Martin catches up with them from Colombia to find out what the Instagram pictures don't show: illnesses and injuries, travelling with three children when plans fall apart, managing money for a year on the road, and what constant time together has revealed about their family.
