From January to June 2024, Belgium will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU), a position it has not held since 2010.

With the motto  "Protect, Strengthen, Prepare", Belgium will be tasked with presiding over all matters dealt with at the European level, from research to justice, industry to employment, and extending to finances and telecommunications. 

Colette Taquet, Ambassador of Belgium to Singapore tell us how Belgium is aiming to build a better Europe during their tenure.
