On What's Trending, Booking.com has partnered with rapper Ludacris to offer a family-friendly getaway at his 22-acre Atlanta mansion for just $4.04. Starting August 28, 2024, one lucky booker and three guests will have the chance to enjoy a two-night stay at Ludacris' estate, priced to honour his hometown area code. The itinerary includes a meet-and-greet session with Ludacris, paddle boating on the lake, a BBQ dinner, and a private screening of some of his iconic movies.
Also, a man in China paid $140 to place a personal advertisement on a billboard at his local subway station in Guangzhou, urging passengers to add him as a contact on social media platform WeChat. The ad went up in May and during its five-day run, about 200 new friends added him on the app. This is part of a wave of people taking out ads on subways in major cities across China, not companies promoting their brands or products.
