Workers’ Party chief Pritam Singh has been formally removed as Leader of the Opposition, following Parliament’s vote declaring him unsuitable to continue in the role and his conviction for lying to the Committee of Privileges.
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has since invited the Workers’ Party to nominate another MP to take over the position.
