The People’s Action Party (PAP) has re-elected all 14 members of its previous Central Executive Committee (CEC), with no new faces elected to its top decision-making body.

The results come as the party continues to navigate leadership renewal, following a Cabinet reshuffle in July that saw younger political office-holders take on greater responsibilities.

So what does the outcome say about the PAP’s leadership renewal and what can we expect from its next generation of leaders?

On The Big Story, Hongbin Jeong speaks to Dr Gillian Koh, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies, National University of Singapore, to unpack what the results reveal about the party’s internal dynamics and the road ahead for its next generation of leaders.
