Singapore is proposing one of its biggest overhauls of road traffic laws in years. Under a new Bill, motorists caught holding a mobile phone while driving could face fines of up to $1,000, jail time, or both. The Government is also proposing lower legal alcohol limits and tougher penalties for drink driving offences.
