Megan Lee, a 22-year-old business student at Singapore Management University, is working to revive her mother's struggling lighting shop, Light + Form Concepts, through a TikTok campaign.
The shop has faced challenges since the 2020 circuit breaker period, but Megan's 56-second TikTok clip outlining her revival plans has sparked hope.
She promised a forthcoming business pitch and invited viewers to follow their journey on TikTok, and her mother, surprised by the video's popularity, eagerly asked when the next one would be filmed.
On R.I.C.H., Hongbin Jeong speaks to Samantha Ong Poh Kuan, Co-Founder, Light and Form, and Lee Ying Ti Megan, Student, Singapore Management University, to find out more about Megan's efforts to save the family business and the role social media in its revival.
