All eyes are on China after the country announced a more targeted approach to handle the pandemic. While that has provided a boost to Chinese stocks, for how long can this continue?

In the meantime, private equity firms are seeing an increased number of ultra-wealthy Chinese investors exploring bigger investments in private assets as they seek shelter from wild swings in public markets. 

But does it make sense for investors to shield themselves from the ongoing volatilities by turning to private equity funds, which is also seen as a form of high-risk investment?
