OliveAnkara is a Singapore-based fashion label known for its head-turning African fabrics. The slow fashion brands is the brainchild of Ify Ubby, a scientist turn fashion designer.
Born in Italy to Nigerian parents, Ify first moved to Singapore to pursue molecular cancer research. These days, she’s a full-time designer with her own showroom – creating Afro-Asian fusion clothes that happen to be waste-neutral.
On Culture Club, Roshan Gidwani speaks with Ify Ubby, Founder & Designer, OliveAnkara to find out more.
