Are Singaporeans expecting an economic downturn in the next year or so? According to UOB’s ASEAN Consumer Sentiment Study (ACSS) 2023, over 70 percent of UOB’s Asean consumer sentiment study are expecting to experience an economic downturn in the next 12 months. The study also found that rising inflation is a key concern in Asean with 63 percent of the respondents expressing worry about it.
