Chew Chun Chau was hardly a model student. He struggled through school, but went on to become an SAF Merit Scholar, study at Imperial College London and help design a new generation of warships for Singapore's navy. Today, he leads the Singapore operations of Swedish defence company Saab. His career has taken him in directions he could scarcely have imagined growing up.

On Suite Talk, Lynlee Foo sits down with Chun Chau, who is Country Head at Saab Singapore to find out what gave him the confidence to pursue unfamiliar paths, how did he handle the pressure of proving himself, and what has the journey taught him about leadership?
