A new trade deal between Britain and the US has sent shockwaves through the market.

MARKET WRAP:

• ASX200: up 0.2% or 13 points at 8,191
• GOLD: $3,343 US an ounce
• BITCOIN: 1 bitcoin is $155,013

• President Donald Trump teased a trade deal coming in the next few hours,  widely expected to be with Britain..  while the Federal Reserve announced an expected hold on interest rates, but pointed to another cut coming in July.
• 8 of the 11 sectors finished higher with Industrials the best of the bunch -  thanks to a rally in Nasdaq futures boosting tech stocks… Computershare saw close to a 4% rise.
• Finance stocks were the biggest drag.. ANZ suffered a 1.5% loss after reporting flat year on year profits.
