• Fortescue's shares rose by 4.3% to $19 after it announced a record volume of iron ore shipments and projected stronger growth.
• Lynas Rare Earths gained more than 5% to $10.65
• Bapcor saw its shares plummet by 28% to $3.66 after it saw weaker sales over the last couple of months.
• Northern Star Resources dipped by 2.4%
• Also falling backwards was BHP, Wesfarmers and Macquarie Group
