MWP June 16: The $30b offer for Santos, as ASX closes flat 🫴💸

The ASX 200 rallied 1.1 per cent, or 93.60 points to 8692 which restored $34 billion to the index. 

Largely due to a dip in the oil price as markets speculated on how long the Iran war will last and the Strait of Hormuz will be closed.
