What The Beatles can teach you about finances

View descriptionShare

The members of The Beatles, and their heirs, are multi-millionaires. But it wasn't always so. Journalist and author, Ivor Davis, was the only member of the British media to travel with the group during their first tour of the United States in 1964.

While Davis has been speaking about his adventures with the Beatles for nearly 60-years and wrote the book 'The Beatles and Me on Tour,' he says "no one ever asked me about the money aspect." Davis tells never before-heard stories when it comes to what The Beatles knew about merchandising, record deals and how much cash they carried with them in this episode.
