**This U.S. Documentary won a Special Jury Award for Freedom of Expression at the Sundance Film Festival after this interview took place**

The lack of free press isn't just an issue in foreign countries.  The documentary "Bad Press" now playing at the Sundance Film Festival, covers the topic on U.S. soil.  

Directors Joe Peeler and Becca Landsberry-Baker delve into the Muscogee Creek Nation in Oklahoma whose leaders repealed their own free press law in 2018.  Reporter Angel Ellis was fired for doing a story about some questionable actions by tribal leaders.
