Are you saving money to send your child to college?  What if you're child decides not to go?  Richard Ellis, the Senior Director of Compliance, of My529 says this plan will let you transfer the funds to someone else, including yourself.

You can also use money from a 529 plan for kids in Kindergarten through 12th grades, not just for higher learning.  You can open a 529 in other states, and you can use the money for international schools.
