Growing up as a young African American man with no direction in life and limited opportunities in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Robert Watkins understands how hard it is to succeed in life when life says that you should be something else. Thanks to the people who were in his life at the time though, he ended up becoming a financial advisor who uses his skills to educate the African American community on how to avoid debt, how to succeed as an entrepreneur regardless of whether you’re a church or a small business, and how to avoid credit card debt. He is also the founder of Kings and Priests, an organization created to empower men into becoming their best selves while also teaching them to be more emotionally available people by embracing vulnerability.
