He joined a gang when he was 13, tried drugs three months later, and was addicted to heroin by the age of 15. He’s been imprisoned five times and have spent 20 years in jail. Now at 50 years old, he was recently conferred a Certificate Of Merit by Yellow Ribbon and is an anti-drug advocate and motivational speaker doing preventive drug education in schools with the Central Narcotics Bureau, volunteer welfare organisations and social agencies.
