Last Monday, 13 new technical measures were announced by a new Public Sector Data Security Review Committee, which was convened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in April this year. The measures, developed after a spate of data breaches in the past year, were issued after a government-wide stocktake of how data was managed at five key agencies here handling medical and financial data of citizens.
