Brooke Hart Jones is a mom of two boys and the creator of HBCyOU Kidz, a multimedia children’s brand featuring an animated YouTube series, books, and music that celebrate the history and culture of HBCUs. Her journey began with a simple idea: to create a Hampton University cheerleader doll as a gift for a friend’s daughter, something she realized didn’t exist. That idea blossomed into the HBCyOU doll line and a partnership with a toymaker to bring them to life. Today, HBCyOU Kidz has evolved into a growing movement, and Brooke’s mission to keep HBCU history and culture alive continues to inspire the next generation.
